Staffing Table and Flowsheet

This document is designed to help clinics and community-based organizations develop a staffing plan and clinic flow for long acting injectable antiretroviral therapy (LAI ART) programs. Realizing that it may be difficult to start from scratch and might be helpful to see how other clinics are doing things, we present three sample staffing models. These models are a synthesis of Advancing Long Acting Injectables in Underserved Populations (ALAI UP) project’s work with eight clinics across the northeast and southern United States and highlight flexible approaches to LAI ART program delivery.

LAI ART Coordinator Position Description

This document introduces the LAI ART Coordinator role and the coordinator functions within broader LAI program development. This guidance is for administrators, clinicians, and staff at clinical sites who are developing or refining their LAI ART program and seek to expand their team capacity. A sample job description is at the end of this document. Add or delete responsibilities and qualifications as appropriate for your site.

Medical Eligibility Considerations Checklist

This is a guidance document for administrators, clinicians, and staff at clinical sites who want to understand some of the eligibility considerations for an injectable cabotegravir/rilpivirine (iCAB/RPV) program. As a checklist, it can be used to assess patients’ medical eligibility for CAB/RPV, discuss eligibility criteria with patients, and document follow-up items.
